Sawmill 1: Freestanding Emergency Department + Ambulatory Surgery Center

Shared Success

Deliver a freestanding medical facility within a dynamic urban environment.

Storey PM Advantage

In partnership with Lee & Associates, Roper St. Francis seeks to enhance healthcare delivery by integrating a two-story freestanding emergency department and ambulatory surgery center into the Sawmill mixed-use development. We're representing the upfit effort, managing and ensuring effective collaboration between separate tenant and core and shell design teams so the final structure supports the interior elements required.

The first level will serve as the hub of patient care, providing swift, lifesaving interventions equipped with inpatient beds, an emergency department, advanced imaging, and pharmacy services. The new ASC component will occupy the second floor and consist of four operating rooms, twelve PACU, mammography, and support services. Guided by a strong and comprehensive budget, the project is heading to GMP and scheduled to submit permits on the surgery center in February of 2025.
