The original Zinger was among the park’s most popular rides when it opened in 1973. Designed to delight a new generation of guests with a nostalgic nod to the past, the new coaster is built on Titan Track on top of a galvanized steel and wood hybrid frame. Strong knowledge of the construction process enabled the project team to work through several construction and site challenges along with winter weather conditions. The team also generated several creative cost effective value engineering options to keep the 74-foot-high project within budget. The reimagined Zinger channels its 50-year history to create a new experience for today's modern adventurer.
